National healthcare and capitalism do not mix. Insurance and other entities involved is too great of a number to keep track of overcharging patients. In reality, this should be controlled by the government. I strongly believe in government health and dental care at a local, state and federal levels. My personal belief in healthcare starts with dental care. People must maintain a level 5 dental or be in the process of being repaired. If an individual’s teeth start falling to a level 3 or 4 you will start receiving healthcare surcharges to encourage better health and keeping healthcare cost down for everyone. To encourage better dental care, we need to force soft drink manufacturers to drastically reduce sugar and other negative ingredients to make soft drinks better for health. Poor environments or agriculture and livestock conditions in the U.S. or abroad in general has been the culprit of the much of our healthcare cost. Capitalism is the major cause of water fountains disappearing in America. If you get a drink of water from a fountain, it may prevent you from buying a soft drink or a bottled water; therefore, we would like to reintroduce water fountains as our primary drinking source. Let’s work together on encouraging a better, healthier lifestyle. There are various levels of quality in our food industry. If we eliminate stockholder profits and control, then workers can produce better quality food in areas where it lacks. Stress can destroy people’s health, relationships and have other related effects. Reducing stress would drastically decrease overall healthcare costs.
Better health will give more freedom to enjoy both work and life.
Healthcare costs need to be reduced. This will not be achieved by cutting staff so that health care is more affordable. This means that medical providers should use shared resources – facilities, supplies, administrative staff, etc… Also, possibly adding a wing to hospitals where patients feel as if they are in the comfort of their own homes but no doctors or nurses make rounds in this area. Instead family members monitor progress of the patient and if the patient is cleared by a doctor to go home, they can leave; if a patient, has any complications, they can quickly check back into the hospital. This would reduce the amount of resources being used on patients towards the very end of recovery.
